What transactions can I do at the branch drive-thru window?
Members can conduct most deposit and check cashing transactions at the drive-thru window. To ensure that the line moves as quickly as possible, no more than three transactions can be processed during one drive-thru visit. In addition, members may only purchase cashier's checks and money orders inside a branch.
What is Shared Branching, and how do I access this service?
Shared Branching is provided through the CU Service Centers network, a financial cooperative enabling members to access their accounts and conduct basic transactions at various credit union branches nationwide. Shared Branching access is only granted to members who opt-in to the program. Simply call (602) 433-7000 and answer a few verification questions. Once signed up, you can find locations online at www.co-opsharedbranch.org. When visiting a Shared Branching location, you will need to have your Desert Schools account number and valid identification.
Can business members use Shared Branching?
No. The Shared Branching network is currently unable to accommodate the unique requirements of Desert Schools business accounts.
Does Desert Schools offer notary services?
Yes. Notary services are offered at our full-service branches and our in-store locations.
What can non-members do at the Credit Union?
We offer non-members savings bond redemption, Visa® cash advances, cashing checks drawn on Desert Schools and notary services.
