GIVING BACK TO CREATE SHARED PROSPERITY

When we say we’re fully invested in our community, what does that really mean? Does it mean we donate money and volunteer? Yes, but that’s just the beginning. For Desert Schools, community involvement is about supporting our core values as a credit union.

Our commitment to service is part of our culture, and our community is the foundation of our success.
HELPING EACH OTHER HELPS US ALL

It’s about truly investing in our community and creating a foundation for Shared Prosperity. That means we commit time, money, expertise and resources to strengthen the community that supports us all.

It means that we’re all in!

Online financial literacy programs offered to high school teachers

To help high school students prepare for their financial future, Desert Schools sponsored an online financial literacy program for educators. The Money Side of Life provides teaching tools, resources and student guides on budgeting, saving, college prep, independent living and investing. The online curriculum meets national and state standards and is valued at $2,000 per school. Complimentary access to the program is available to Maricopa County teachers through our current sponsorship.
